Default Tobacco section?

Any takers? Obviously we don't need a section about marlboro's, but I'd like to share my experiences with nice cigars that I come across and read other peoples reviews as well. Along with good places to buy locally as well as online. Setup meets, group buys ect ect. Without having to hear the bullshit from all the people who hate us.

Show of hands? Anybody that would frequent said section?

I doubt a section will ever happen...

However, while we are on the subject.....

Padron maduro 3000 is my fav. Most people don't care for the maduro's but I love this one period. I often find myself settling for a natural 3000 because the wife isn't a fan of the smell of a maduro though.

I have mainly just bought boxes of these and the naturals, I am planning to sign up for a cigar of the month package soon though. Cigarsdirect.com is the shit, top notch customer service and they always seem to get me my stuff in a timely fashion.

Yeah I've developed a taste for the maduro's myself. I'm enjoying a damn fine one at the moment.

http://www.acigarsmoker.com/2011/10/...-cigar-review/

I doubt there are many left but they released the '12's and I've heard good things about them too.

How are the price differences to buying online? I like to go to Outlaw and talk up the guys there. Very friendly and knowledgeable about their products (For the most part they are, there are a few people who don't know shit from shinola.)

Why not expand that and have it be for alcohol also? There seem to be quite a few craft beer lovers on here.

My favorite's right now are probably the Ashton Monarch's/Churchill's (their aged Maduro's are fucking fantastic). or Drew Estate Undercrown Liga Privada's.

That's a good idea. I don't drink so I didn't think of it but it would be a cool addition. We could add knives and poker. Kind of like our own little outlaw forum.

Isnt there an under-utilized food section? I would classify drinks as a type of food so they could post in there.

This topic comes up about once a quarter. Maybe if we get enough people interested, say 50 members who would post, we might be able to get KW to consider it.

I am a pretty big cigar buff. I would be down. I have been on an Avo Maduro #3 kick for a couple years now and once I am done with my last case I will likely start trying some new ones.

Sadly I am a huge watch person and would love a watch section but there are forums dedicated to the topic elsewhere. Plus that would make Mantooth a mod or something right?

Just group it in with alcohol and firearms. The good ol ATF section. Now we have a party.

I'm a huge fan of the Partigas Black Label. Probably my favorite at the moment. I also enjoy Copenhagen and Parliament lights, but I'm trying to cut those out.

I think we're having a hard time having 50 regular posters on the entire forum as of late. Place seems to be super slow.

The price is cheaper online, but not enough to make me go nuts over it.
For me its the fact I can be sitting at work and order some, its also the fact that the nearest place I can buy good cigars is over 60 min away.

Once I found a camel on the ground and smoked about a third of it. I promptly felt sick so I scaled the side of a two story church building and projectile vomited down the side of it until I fell asleep there on the roof. Then I went home and told my mom I was sick, she made me some bad ass foods and I watched cartoons while I ate it.

Default Cigar Bar

There's a place in North KC now called Johnny's Backyard Bar. 1825 Buchanan. They have a humidor on their balcony. Also premium beers and liquors. There's a huge outdoor patio. We used to go dancing there under the old name and you could smoke indoors. No clue what the smoking set up there now. Pleasant place. Not sure how much help the staff can give on cigar advice. Hopefully they don't have one of the old bartenders still there. He couldn't make a Scotch without ice with splash of water. There website lists their cigars.

Do we even have 50 members on the whole forum? Do we really need more sections? Just use the food section as a lifestyle forum for cigars and alcohol. Problem solved.
