Looks like mine with all of the iron man stuff. I have a decent HTPC but nothing worthy of taking a picture. I need to redo it when I have the funds to pick up a SSD.

I have that exact build, down to the RAM and graphics card, also an Alienware X51. Upgrading the card was a bit of a bitch though. Only difference is I'm running dual HP 20" LED monitors, a Cyborg Cytek red backlit keyboard, and a Rat-9.

True, and.. true. Haha. I took one of the GPU's out but airflow is still shit. The front of the case has a tiny stupid fan, and because the case has to be assembled in a certain order.. there isnt a good option for cabling.

Yep I think it was your pic (In closet with router?) that got me to get that case.

Perhaps it was the dude with the yellow escort in his sig, can't remember.

Next to my server? Yeah that was me. It is actually an over hang above the stairway to the basement.

Anyone want to give me wire management lessons/help? I just really dont care that much, I am better a cutting and reattaching cables then managing them.

Only thing I can think of is a full module PSU. I think that would help out a ton.

Edit: still in debate when I have extra funds doing a water cooling set up.

I found changing out the gpu to be very easy. What issues did you experience?

Been neglecting my mITX pc lately. It's just been taken apart on my desk while I played Farcry3: Blood Dragon lol. It was too damn loud, and the cooler in it really sucked.

So I finally bought a closed loop liquid cooler. Antec 920, got it for $59.99 after a $20 rebate at Fry's.

It barely exactly fits. Bad news now is, I can't really get a longer video card in there. I'm happy with it though. It's not loud, and works way better than what I had.

It's still a work in progress, but I fit a 7" USB powered touch screen into the front of my newest case. I plan to use RainMeter to put some military themed gauges on the screen that are interactive.

As far as the specs go, I'm still in the hunt for a CPU/MOBO/RAM combo, probably going to go with the newer AMD 8 core CPU with at least a 990 chipset motherboard. I have two Radeon 6850s that I plan on running in Crossfire, and I have four 250gb 7200rpm laptop drives that will be in a Raid 0 array. Everything will be powered by a fully modular Kingwin 700 watt power supply.

Further case mods will likely follow, including a set of feet for it made into tank tracks, and some yellow caution stripes on the side of the case, haven't decided if I'm going to paint them or cut them out and install a yellow tinted plexi. I'm also tossing around the idea of turrets on the sides of the case, but I don't want it to get corny.

[IMG][/IMG]

I managed to cut the living crap out of my finger when I was working on it, check out the mayhem.

I used to have an Iron Man theme from rainmeter with custom gauges, and it was pretty slick. I'm going to see what's posted to their forum boards for download, and if I can't find anything I really like I'll just make my own.

She won't be like this for too much longer since i'm getting an MSI N780 Lightning after the first of the year, but for now this is how she looks.

Specs:
  • Corsair Carbide 300R case with sidepanel mod
  • ASRock Z77 Extreme6 mobo
  • i5-3570k @ 4.5GHz daily
  • 16gb Crucial Ballistix Sport @1600MHz
  • 2x MSI GTX 570 Twin Frozr in SLI
  • 128gb Kingston HyperX SSD
  • Western Digital 1tb RAID0 array (2x500gb)
  • Custom watercooling with Koolance 2x120mm radiator
  • Enermax Galaxy DXX 1000w PSU
  • LG Bluray Disc Reader
  • 2x NZXT white 120mm front fans
  • 2x Corsair SP120 performance fans on radiator
  • 2x Thermalright 140mm side fans
  • Sunbeam tech 6 fan controller

Just got the hole cut:

Drilled the holes and ground the burrs down:

Plexi in and bolted up:

This was before I got the watercooling and all of the fans in, but still a good picture of the window:

Just goes to show how bright at white the inside is as I took this in my room with the lights out and at night:

It's obviously not blue, but here is the whole system:
