Default ceramic/thermal coatings...what, where?

I'm looking to maximally reduce my underhood temps and would like to get my headers (304 stainless) coated with the best thermal coating available. I've done some searching and found that there are two (maybe more?) types of coatings available for exhaust systems:

(1) the shiny/metallic ceramic coatings (Jet-Hot Extreme 1300, Cerakote Chromex, Techline Cermakrome, etc.) that work for temps up to 1300-1400F

(2) satin/thermal coatings (Jet-Hot Extreme 2000/2500, Techline Black Satin, etc.) for temps up to 2000F.

It seems to me that the shiny/metallic (#1) coating is used most often for aesthetics rather than engine bay heat reduction.

I will have a High Flow Cat downstream of the header.

Any recommendations for shops or coating products? Crosslink Powder Coating of KC? Coatings KC/Industrial Coatings

Do ceramic/thermal coatings burn off, if used on the inside of the exhaust, and cause O2 sensor or catalytic converter failure?

Anyone recommend heat wrap instead?

I've used the Jet Hot Extreme coating, what ever Hooker uses for a shiny coating, and two different kinds of heat wrap. I really liked both of the coatings, and they dramatically knocked down the heat in the engine bay. I dunno if the black coatings would be any better or not. The heat wrap sucks to put on, does a marginal job compared to the coatings, and tends to absorb any fluid it comes in contact with only to smoke it out later. Worst case was when I had an AN fitting bust and spray tranny fluid on the wrapped header which allowed it to catch fire. I don't think a coated header, or an uncoated one, would have caught fire. It was the wrap that absorbed the fluid and allowed it to heat up enough to flame up.

The Jet Hot gets my recommendation.
