![]() What did u need done? Most those cars are super reliable. They just need routine maint. I was a certified Lexus tech and am pretty familiar w them.

Gs is a very solid car with few issues. Some small cosmetic moulding issues under the doors and then power steering hose leaks but those motors run forever. Trans are reliable also as long as you maintain them. |

![]() That's the newer stuff. Older toyota water pumps were MUCH more reliable.
Not sure how the build quality is but I have had OEM toyota water pumps and AISIN (who supplies for toyota) water pumps leak. It's true that they don't build them like they used to. I believe the power steering leaks are a cause of the crush washer design. Other companies pretty much have a o-ring and flare nut connection where as toyota still likes to use the double crush washer design which seems more prone to failure |
