Thank you. Can't go wrong with Apex or H&R. They may be on almost every ZHP or M3 but there is a reason why.

Dropped off the wheels and tires this morning and I got a call moments ago that they are ready. I'll pick them up in a few hours and pictures to follow.

H&R Cup Kit installed yesterday, wheels mounted. No rolling or pulling needed. It's close....But there's room.

Looks superb. The taillights with the clear/white section rather than amber would look very nice.

Wheels look great!

How are you liking the H&R Cup Kit? My ZHP is overdue for a suspension refresh, I'm debating on Koni FSD + stock springs or the H&R Touring Cup Kit.

It's somewhere on the list along with OE clear sides and OE clear turn signals.

Thanks!

So far with the 60 miles on it so far its tough to say. In moderate speed entry there is some roll but overall during highway and normal driving it rides great being a little stiffer than stock Sport/ZHP suspension. You cant go wrong with any of those IMO. The ZHP guys praise the Koni setup and H&R from what I've gathered.

I may add in a M3 front sway bar and Turner rear to eliminate the roll.

Had to run downtown Charlotte and my god the roads are terrible. I rubbed a good amount in the rear on 77 hwy but that was a good test. So....a little roll in the rear will rectify that. I'll go ahead and do a heavy roll to make room for 255's when I go to replace the tires come spring time....if these last that long.

Nice, thanks. I already have the fender roll done, so good for any drop that may come.

Honestly I don't have a good starting point to compare on the suspension, the previous owner put some cheapo coilover setup on it. Way too stiff for DD, but enough give that I would still rub on some stupid bumps. Even just going back to stock would be an improvement at this point.

Did you get the Touring or the Sport Cup Kit?

Sport Cup Kit. I didn't install the spring pads from the original springs which eliminates the rake.

Go through these threads.

https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...-amp-R-cup-kit

Also venture to zhpmafia.

Man, now I'm really torn between my original plan with the Koni FSDs or doing the H&R kit.

Did you replace your shock mounts at the same time? I'm looking at the Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts and trailing arm bushings, and OEM front mounts. Already did Z4M FCABs.

Thank you.

I didn't know you had one too! The white and natural brown is such a sexy color combo. It's rare enough that you don't see many around.

I looked back at your thread and our cars are optioned similar. Is yours a Sport or a Mtech Sport?

I have black window trim without xenon and it looks like you have chrome trim with xenon.

Thank you sir.

Alignment done along with the airbag recalls.

Front -2 degrees
Rear -2.5 degrees
Toe zero

With the drop and wheel setup this should be a good alignment. From tons of talk on zhp and M3 forums this is pretty mild and common for this setup. My neighbor is a BMW guru, SCCA Driving Instructor and apparently has a legit CRX track car so I'll be getting his opinion as well.

Spec for factory sport suspension

--Front camber -0.43' 20' (aka -0.72 0.33)
--Rear camber -2 04' 15' (aka -2.06 0.25)

It's a ZSP. It was made a half-year before they came out with the ZHP. I wish I could find another driver seat to replace mine. It's the only one that shows wear after 250k miles. They are just soo hard to find in that color with heat/power/sport. The previous owner put the MtechII front on it. Other than that, this is the way he ordered it.

The interior on mine is flawless with almost no wear so I've been meticulously maintaining my seats especially my drivers seat. I've had several people offer a swap or purchase my interior on e46fanatics and bimmerforums which my answer is....No.

I will only swap/sell Cinnamon.

Alpine White + Cinnamon interior....dear lord that will be glorious.

This weekend will be oil change and a good interior cleaning.

Just been driving the heck out of it. 113K miles on her so far.

Thank's Ryan!

120K miles so far. Looking into doing a VANOS rebuild and full inspection for other maintenance items needed.

Removed the tint. Other than that just driving the thing. Been a pretty reliable car so far other than the few issues when i first purchased it.

Bye Bye Tint (don't mind the fading pillars, will be corrected eventually)

Looks fantastic! Glad it's going better now than right after you got her. That's the problem with deferred maintenance on these things. Stay diligent and they'll run forever.

Car is looking great! Mine is about to get caught up on some much needed deferred maintenance and to take care of some of the cheapo "mods" the PO blessed me with.

Hope the VANOS rebuild goes well, that's the one thing that will be left for me to do on my car.
