My vote is anything but torque thrust. Go to a car show and pick 10 cars. I would bet 7 have torque thrust on them. Too played out,go with something else. Also I would go with at least a 20" wheel.

There was a 60-66 Chevy at the NRSA show in OKC that had 20" GM Rally rep wheels on it. They looked a little out of place on it, but I think they would look awesome on a 67-72.

Not me. It's been tucked away in the garage.

There is a guys in the C10 forums that did 20" rallys. It looks decent. The only thing that looks weird is the amount of wheel showing between the dish and the ring.

Looked exactly like yours, but had a GM Genuine Parts front plate.

Love the truck.

Circle D makes a 20" Rally. I'm just not sure how much I like the look.

This guy has them on his truck. Granted they are black and no bueno, I am just not sure about the look.

EDIT:

Better Pics...

I've got something exciting up my sleeve. I've been working on developing several parts for these trucks.

I am still torn on wheels. I have cut sheets all over my office of wheels. Decisions, decisions...

These are the wheels my brother and I put on our C10. Just some regular old rally wheels. We went with the stockish look on this thing.

Ended up going with a set of 18x9 Torq Thrust II's all around. It fits the style of the truck and the wife approved (it's her truck as well). I am working on tires now. I will have the wheels in hand tomorrow so I can check clearances for tires. Initially, I wanted to run a 255/50/18, but that is a bastard size. I am going to see if I can fit a 275/45/18. Just need to make sure it clears up front.

I'm sure it will look nice, but i was really hoping to see you go with the salt flats after seeing the photos of the brown truck above.

I know they are on every other car at the car show. Since everything is always for sale, keeping it more mainstream may help if someone with deep pockets pops up. Plus, car show judges are typically in their 50's and 60's. A wheel like this is what they would have put on the truck. They get nostalgic when voting . That's how we won at the Shawnee car show last year. They told me it took them back to their high school years.

I don't think I would park that truck so close to a Y-49 CRX...

Wheels are on. It definitely needs to ride a little lower now. I am going to drop my rear shackle bracket and take a leaf or two out to level it out to hold me over until winter. It drive 100% better with the correct diameter tire on it. Still singing 2800-3000 on the highway, but much better that with the 26" tire.

Even with as much as you see them done, I think that looks great. Also, loving the Eat Beef tag on the front.
