I ain't mad at ya

And no Zack if your car runs as strong as you say it does then I'll just be a waste of gas for you.

Maybe someday my wife will let me break open the piggy bank and I'll get out of the 12s

Emo? lol... And I wasn't aware my shit had to run 365 days a year so that I could talk shit about racing people the 1 or 2 days of the year I drag it to KC and race people. I guess I'm new to how this works. I was under the impression it just had to run while I was racing the people I was talking shit to. Guess you learn something new every day. The last motor was in it from 2009 until december of 2011. The motor before that was in it from 2002-2008. This motor has been in it since december of 2012. Every other year I guess.

I love the fact that it appears you've built it. I always have more respect for built over bought. Excited to see it in person.

To "Nothing Gay", I'm curious what vehicle you drive? I imagine you won't have to worry about the wheels since you won't be able to ever see them. In some cases I feel people should keep their opinions to themselves.

I guess my thought was "why come into a thread just to be negative". To each their own however.

Well, I ran out of maf in a hurry. Car made 15psi on the wastegate spring and that's where it stayed lol 940 counts on the maf, 1025 is max. Was on a Mustang Dyno as well, so I was told the numbers would be 15% higher on a dynojet. On 15psi and 17 degrees of timing on e70 pulling to 6800rpm it made 680/541. So, if the whole 15% deal is true, that's 782/622. Either way, pretty happy with the numbers with all things considered (NA cams, auto, 2v, on3 kit... everything I was told that wouldn't make any power). I clipped the pull a couple hundred rpm early, would be interesting to know what 2 or 300 more rpm would have gained me. I am pretty impressed by the torque, when the power came on, the torque jumped up and pretty much held steady, the power kept climbing with no signs of falling off. There is a LOT left in it if I get a maf extender or put it in a bigger tube, IMO. I'll probably throw a couple more pounds at it or a couple degrees of timing at it and have fun with it for a while though (at least I hope lol). Here is a crappy picture of the dyno sheet.

Was interesting to see how much timing made a difference from the time I got there and when I left. My first pull made 508/501. Pulled to 5500rpm and it broke up so I lifted. Looked back at it and it was only making 10 degrees of timing. Got the timing pulling lined out and gave it 3 more degrees. Pulled clean to 6300 and broke up again, lifted. Made 597/523. Gave it 4 more degrees (17 total now) and it cracked off the 680/541 and pulled clean to the 6800. I didn't lift because of it breaking up, just wasn't sure how fast the limiter was coming and lifted because I didn't want to hit it.

I am considering throwing it on the dyno at KC2K13 this weekend to see some non mustang dyno numbers... we'll see. Having said that, time to go do some dig testing so I'm ready for this weekend!
