12 second slip should be pretty easy if you can drive... I personally am probably a terrible driver! I did however get close to 30mpg doing 75mph on my trip home. Again I'm very pleased with the amount of car for the money.

Itís more fun to think you have a mid-12sec car than pay money to come home with a 13.20 time slip

I just know my LT-5 was faster than a full bolt on Mach1 with cams.

Personally, if I get a 13.20 out of it, it should def be good for mid 11s with a driver mod that weighs under 320 lb.

I'm old Jdub, people don't need a keyboard to talk shit to my face.

I'll say this. I cut a 13.1 in my boat and the vette is a good bit quicker.

My truck?

Iíd have to push it down the track

I havenít fired it up since my daughters graduated high school in May of 2011. It has a noticeable lower end knock, but she runs.

Itís getting to the point where I canít take the money with me, so at some point Iím either going to sell it and move on, or resurrect the beast.

I know, I was just trying to give you shit.

Mild83 has a high 12 second vette. I have a high 11 second vette. And you got a paperweight.

But at least its a fucking sweet paperweight.

You arenít exactly one to talk about paper weights in the form of a truck

And my comment stands. It ainít a mid-12sec anything until he gets through the traps and proves it.

Street tires, manual, fat kid behind the wheel, etc.

Itís just a little wheel spin away from not sniffing 12s.

Thats why I haven't gone to the track yet in my car. Probably run a 12.5 lol

I sold the syclone about two years ago and cut my losses.... And guess what, in the last two year values have finally started to rise on them. Have seen decently higher mile trucks that were once going for 6-8K range now commanding $10-16K. Its crazy how in such a sort time prices have jumped. Not that I every actually thought about selling it when it was running though.

I've got advice to go with c6z06 exhaust. Probably go that route. Don't what to do too much.

I bought with the intent to flip because of what I paid but I really like the car.

Like the c6z manifolds?

There's a slight bump in power, but not anything like lingtubes would wake it up.the c5 market is tough right now, unless you picked it up under 9, it'll be hard to flip for decent cash.

Yeah the c6z manifolds, cat pipe, and mid pipe. I'm trusting nick and his experience with them. Hes the most knowledgable LS guy I know. Not to mention he has first hand experience multiple times making big HP through them. He had some good points about the annoyance of long tubes and not the much difference in power.

As far as price goes. I don't agree but no hurt feelings. I haven't seen any FRC this clean, 55k miles, never significantly modified for anywhere near what you are talking. I look at the major forums and the cheap skate FB pages. Sure deals are to be had but I could sell this car in a flash for at least $13 in my opinion that's leaving a lot of meat on the bone.

True probably not with 55k, but at $13k, you're starting to knock on c5z territory. I thought about the c6z exhaust setup, went with LT. curious what issues Nick mentioned with LT?
