nice score kw. i didn't realize you were running a 980x.

i'll run this benchmark as soon as the sli issue is fixed.

i expect my score to be in the 11-12k range based on what i've seen with single gtx 580 scores.

Single GTX 460, can't get SLI to work!

http://3dmark.com/3dm11/9803

Nice to know my GTX 460 can hold ground with a 6870. Could also be because of my CPU too.

I'm not following? The 57xx series was a waste IMO. I don't even think the best 57xx series can compare to a GTX 460.

As soon as 3dmark11 makes its debut, I'll start a new thread and we'll clean this one up. I think we can consider dropping 3dmark06.

I'd also like to consider some other benchmarks that won't favor one manufacturer's technology over the other's.

*cpu is really at 4.2ghz. but for some reason, futuremark website never shows it as such.

Just got my card and not really happy with it. BFBC2 is still laggy even on the lowest resolutions...

Just got my gtx 570's in the mail from step up today. Only cost me $60, plus shipping on my end. I have to say that I am impressed. The are a lot quicker and run a TON cooler. They finally don't sound like jets. On stock clocks on the gpu's and my cpu clocked 200mhz lower than my highest vantage run on my 470's my score was 900 points higher. I have a backplate installed on the top card, but not the bottom. I used my folding points to get the backplate on the top card so it only cost me $1. I guess I just need not to be a tight ass and order 1 more.

I have a new score of p 42,130. This was with my cpu@ 4gz and the cards on stock voltage with clocks of 800mhz on the core and 1925mhz on the memory. I planned to adding some more voltage to the cards the try and beat Greg so I didint take a screen cap. When I added some volts to the cards and clocked the cpu to 4.2 the ocp on my psu kicked in and shut off 10 seconds into vantage. Thank god for ocp and it didn't hurt anything. I guess I need a bigger psu. I thought this might happen but was crossing my fingers that it didn't. Guess I will need to buy the corsair ax1200, but I am not going to spend the money on that right now. This is good enough for now. I thought from what I read that these things were suspossed to do better on power than the 470's but I guess not when overclocked with some voltage added to it. My psu would take anything that the 470's would throw at it. Oh well not bad for a 1100 watt psu that I bought off some dude brand new from craigslist. It is an abs tagan itz 1100 watt, not a brand I would of ever personally bought but for the proce I could not go wrong. It is honestly held up better than I thought it would.

I will try and run 3dmark 11 later, I got a free key with these cards. I jsut need to do some reading on the sli patch.

i wouldn't waste my time on vantage anymore if i were you. 3dmark11 is where the party is at for dx11 cards.

i5-750 currently at 3.2, going to OC it back to 4 and re-run this test. EVGA GTX 570 at 800/1600/2000.

EDIT: I bought a 6870 at first and the highest GPU score when overclocked was 15378 in Vantage. So needless to say I took it back for the 570 which is an absolute beast of a card.

EDIT 2: Just installed an OCZ Agility 2 120Gb SSD, =D
