Default C5 Corvette won't go into reverse

So I first noticed it yesterday when I got to work. Tried backing in and it took 5 or 6 tries and finally got it (gave me no problems 30 minutes before while backing out of the garage).

Went to go to work today and it took me 10-12 tries and finally got it with both hands but didn't feel fully engaged.

I've tried running all the way through the gears and to R, no luck. Also tried 3 to R and nothing.

Fluids were just changed 200 miles ago. Also have a hurst short throw.

Did some digging on corvetteforum.com and didn't find anything helpful just check some fuse and the solenoid.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not of much help, but isn't the trick to go from 1st to Reverse?

Hopefully its something simple!

That's what I originally thought. I tried going from 1-R and 3-R with no luck.

Is the Hurst adjustable?

Did you put the same fluid in, or change the brand / specification?

Can you get it into reverse any better with the engine off, then start it and let the clutch out to get moving?

Turn off the car and see if it goes into reverse? I've HEARD the clutch internal slave cylinder is a common failure in those cars. You can try the cheesy way of bleeding and not bleeding it. Sit in the parking lot and just pump the clutch 100 times.

Could need a fluid bleed.

I believe it is adjustable.

I'm not sure what fluid was in it prior, just bought it a few weeks ago.

Car won't go into reverse with the car off.

I'll give this a shot on my lunch.

if the car is off and it still doesn't go into reverse... sounds like a mechanical issue

I'd bet pretty heavy on the hurst shifter being the issue

Anyone know how to adjust the shifter when the pin is gone?

Loosen the shifter box and see if it shifts one way or the other and makes reverse easier

Probably too late - but here's how to find out if it's the shifter limiting the throw - just loosen the nut and back off the front stop bolt - then if it goes into reverse you can look up the adjustment instructions to set the stops.
