Default How to: Install Components in a Del Sol

Heres a write up on how to install components into a del sol.
I don't have all the pictures on how to remove the door panels because if you don't know how to do that you shouldent be reading this.

Step 1: remove door panel

Step 2: Find out were you want to mount the tweeters.

Step 3: Put down painters tape and draw template.

Step 4: Drill hole

Step 5: Put in flush mount bucket.

Step 6: Put in the mounting hard ware.
No pictures.

Step 7: Put in the tweeter and put on the face plate thing.

Step 8: Cut out factory bucket to be able to fit bigger magnet on the speaker.
you could also buy new buckets or just keep stock if they fit in them with out modification.

Step 9: Put speaker into freshly cut mounting bucket, and test fit in door.

Step 10: Mount crossover. I used trim tape that has a really strong holding strength.

Step 11: Sit back and enjoy your handy work. After putting in the speaker, and wiring every thing up.

Step 12: Look at the finished product.
