Default 6x9 recommendations

Whelp, after many years of rockin tunes, my speakers have given me notice of their upcoming retirement (kicker ks693's). Anyone have any good recommendations for a 6x9. Would prefer it handle 100+rms watts. Staying under $150 would be great, as I'm poor. I just installed a pair of Polk db6501's in the front, and while they have less bass than my old front kickers, the clarity and quality seems better, so I'm leaning towards the Polk db 6x9s. So far, I've been recommended focal's budget series, but for half the price, if the Polks sound any good at all, I'll just go with those.

if price is a big issue look into boss audio. ive never had any of their component speakers but their subs do well for being cheap. you can pick a pair up online for $40

If youre looking for bass and don't want a full sub setup think about getting a small lowpro under seat combo...very very easy to install, you need all the same hookups as a system but not as big of wires
