anybody else waiting for their form 1099 from capital gains/losses on stocks?

This time last year I had already received it and filed my taxes. I am still waiting on it from scottrade.

I have electronic "mail" from them so it should be instant for me to download/print.

1099 DIV is for dividends only.
You generally want more of those anyway.

AEO (american eagle) trading near a 52 week low.
I think it is an excellent buy right now. They have over 500M cash on hand and no short or long term debt.
Their operating cash flow is enormous at 500M.
They are also yielding 3.7% at current prices.
They have been beaten down along with all the other clothing retailers but IMO have the best long term outlook of the bunch.

Disclosure: Long AEO

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.
Tax time is easier because you don't pay any taxes on dividends up to 72,000
You only pay 15% up to 142,000

Qualified dividends is definitely where its at.

I have no Idea how LBTG is rallying.
Penny Stock Valuations don't make any sense to me. Fundamental Analysis doesn't work on them.

haha me either

i sold my load today and picked up $1,000 profit on lbtg.

i threw $400 into it and should have sold earlier when it was worth $2,500

Mine is killing it too... Im up 100% and sitting at a $7,500 profit.
