friction folder designs - KCSR

So I've made 1 fixed blade and am working on my second one. I like making the knives but a fixed blade isn't really conducive for EDC.

I don't feel I have the tools to make a frame-lock setup, so I am looking to make a friction folder in the near future. I know there has been at least one made and posted to this site…*and many of you guys carry a wider variety than I own.

Any input or thoughts would be great.
- comfort
- usability
- style
- size
- etc.

If nothing else, enjoy a few renders of what may come to be…

and a few thoughts on how to introduce color / other materials.

If you haven't already, hit up Elscooby (John) on kcsubaru. The last video he posted of his jig and stuff was pretty awesome. I am sure he'd have some good info / advice to share.

I would concentrate my color to the backspacer. Maybe look at it in 3d.

I've tried to build these in 3d, but my brain has a hard time making the software do what I want it to. I'm much more capable in Illustrator / photoshop.

I'll take a stab again, now that I have the 2d work to build from…

@HiLandR - you're right the backspacer is an important part that isn't seen in these side views.
