This. Sold it to my brother after I brought the '71 down and put the money into the '71.

Drove the '71 to the farm under its own power and snapped a pic in front of the Hog House that was its home for so many years.

Might as well update this some. Finally buffed the shitty single-stage, looks a ton better and is now more of a 20 footer and not a 50 footer.

I got my front spoiler installed as well, along with my TMI Products Sport R Door Panels, ididit tilt column, Lokar window cranks, and my new eBay steering wheel.

Pretty much am headliner away from a complete interior at this point, it's much nicer to drive now.

Looking good, bro.

I forgot, is there any rust on it?

Little on the quarters I'm going to address, and the fenders, but I'm not too worried about them as I have a pair to replace the ones on it.

They're killer. Lokar also recently acquired Clayton Machine Works, so they have some more options as of now as well.

I just liked the way the "slits" on those ones matched my door panels, and they all black looks good.

Otherwise it's untouched. Then it has an LS6 intake and 42 lb injectors. Mostly did the 6.0 for 4" bore so I can go to a rectangle port L92/LS3/LSA head in the future at some point.

Here's one when I was messing with the interior still a couple weeks back. Disregard the slight exhaust leak, one of the v-band clamps is messed up (the actual clamp part) and need replaced at the passenger side header collector.

Something went wrong. Please make sure you added the video correctly.

Is that the stock core support? Just curious because mine was the only part in the entire engine bay that needed to be replaced.

Thinking about picking up an OME one over in AZ versus the repro ones.

But shipping is a bitch.

Yep, it's original, and one of the tabs for the subframe bolts is broken on the driver side. Luckily, the '70-'73 Camaro had a second support bracket, so I'm just using that for now on the driver side.

I plan to buy a new one when I do paint and body, but for now it's fine.

Same thing. Drivers side body/core support bolt was so corroded it essentially disintegrated when I removed it. What a PITA.

The battery tray was toast. Really bad shape.

Found a core support (OME) out it AZ for a 74-77. Might pounce on it. $450 + shipping. Perfect shape though ☹️

Year+ later update.

Finally going to modernize the suspension and such. Doing UMI tubular control arms and Viking Coilovers, along with Viking double adjustable rear shocks.

Have a set of 13" Baer 6P brakes that I will do at that time as well, and am going with these US Mags U704 wheels in a 17x8 and 17x9, matte gunmetal face with polished lip:

Waiting on the control arms and wheels then I can get started in on swapping it over.

I approve.

I'm so many years away from new wheels and tire. I had this fantasy of putting that identical wheel on (16 x 10 inch wheels though) and then mounting oversized yellow letter goodyears (where the sidewall looks as if its bulging/side curve to the sidewall). To give that 1970 Trans Am racing series look.

But the DSE upper and lower control arms require 17 inch wheels or bigger unfortunately.
