I dont know why but that triggered me. Hell, reposting it here a week later is STILL getting a chuckle out of me.
A lot the memes were killing me on that sub

Man, I'd given up on KCSR ever coming back.

Let's see:

No fast cars anymore. Traded in my Focus RS on a Range Rover Evoque. The Focus still has a ridiculously high value. It stickered at $45k, I paid $35k out the door, got $30k on trade 2.5 years and 16k miles later.

The Rover is super comfortable with all the bells and whistles. Have a new hobby which has taken over in the last few years, which leads me to:

I picked up cycling as well. No MTB for me though, just road and gravel. I had hypertension for a few years, despite being in relatively good shape and only in my early 30's. Something about genetic disposition, or some crap. After cycling for 6 months, no more meds and great BP.

Now I love cycling so much I'm looking forward to planning vacations around good cycling destinations. Also I'll be doing some competition (road racing and gravel racing) this year. My plans to start racing were postponed last year.

Anyone else do some cycling?

This summer I crashed hard three times. Tried breaking my left arm, three ribs and my leg. Ribs were fucking awful. Here's a glamour shot of the Instinct

The last time i was on before the site shutdown was just a week or two prior to the site shutdown. I have not done much at all really. Been going to work, went out to the woods and did some off-roading. I need a beach vacation.

Since life is changing around me I decided to change with it. Put my house up for sale a few weeks ago for $419,900. After a bidding war, was under contract in less than 24 hours for $435,900. I'm past inspections and waiting on appraisal now (that's the one that's scaring me).

After that it's apartment living for me from mid-march until early Oct when my new home is done being built.
