Thank you.

The flooring and carpet is finally being installed today after weeks of dealing with Lowe's and the contractor.

And......the wife hates the led bulbs in this color temp.

Oh well, I'll put in some warm LED ones.

Pictures to follow

The corner round would look better white imo then matching the floors. Otherwise looks fantastic!

Rug, awesome chair, appliances installed. Small details left and we are moving in this week. Rest of our furniture and new couch being delivered this week.

I may paint the corner round, I didn't know what style or color they were installing.

looking dapper! I would try painting a small area and see if you like it. I'm sure you will though. If you want stained quarter round you need to have stained trim too, but yours is white so the QR should be too. It's super easy to pain though, if it's installed right there should be plenty of room to just slide paper underneath it. so you wouldn't even need to tape anything.

Yeah it pulls your eyes from the gorgeous floors. Its quite a bit more money too. To late to save the money but you could still paint them.

I haven't frequented here in some time but I thought I would update the thread. Everything inside is done with only a few small projects to finish.

-Paint walls and trim in Den. Install new ceiling fans in Den.
-Fix some deck items
-Run water line with PVC from the faucet, under the deck to the front of the house
-Sell the damn place

These may be kind of random.

Added this guy for now.

That does seem high. I ended up paying $500 for our Welsh Pembroke Corgi from a breeder.

I know, NC was going crazy with housing prices when I was there in the 80's and 90's. The cities have grown so much since I left I'm sure housing prices are still increasing.

Good luck.
