![]() Has anybody had to replace a major fuse like this?
I bought a van from a dealer (that needed work) and they jumped it and I think crossed the jumper cables and the battery was dead. I bought a replacement battery and it wouldn't do anything. I checked the fuses underhood and noticed the 120A fuse is toast. Any local places to buy a replacement one in Wichita for a Mazda MPV? I know some local salvage yards might have one, but wasn't sure if a standard auto parts store would sell one? |

![]() Here:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/se...d=120+amp+fuse Was that so hard? Now the real question is why the fuse blew in the first place (and a dealer is going to sell a vehicle cheap they know there are problems with it they don't want to deal with) - I'd say you're going to find something else wrong with it other than the dead battery and blown fuse... probably start looking for chaffed wiring harness - especially the main harness from the alternator. If you get lucky and that was it then hopefully you got a deal!
