new springs came thursday and i bought new struts all the way around ( no special brand)
installed today all went well about the same height as i had on the coilovers hoping front will settle more if not i think my camber kit up front is hitting fender well possibly not letting it sit all the way. it settled alot after my test drive but everything is new so ill give it a couple days.

passed 200k on my way to work i missed it roll

usdm hood will not clear the jdm headlights with out trimming the edges. I purchased the bra because i like littlesuttle things to set the car off away from the crowd.

Makes sense. It seems to me (and this is one person's opinion, take as you will) that the car is getting "cleaner" looking as you're adding the white pieces and entirely white car will look amazing to me. Just seems like a bra will detract from that. Sounds like you've already got some thought into it though so keep up the good work. I love progress threads.

Nice CRX you have going, but why all the cheap parts now??? save your money for real performance parts and accessories will be alot better in the long run.

Maybe you shouldnt of sold your car to assholes.
econobox? isnt every honda an economy car? lol why build honda's at all then.
simple? that steering wheel looks so cheap, might as well left it OEM. im not saying coat the car in gold leaf. im just saying why not buy a decent suspension that isnt going to get all bouncy after 10k miles.
thats why people dont give Honda's and Honda enthusiast any respect. because of egay theme cars and knock of replica parts.

To each its own. I have a family and this is a excellent daily driver so.... I'm not too "rich ". So I manage to get what I have. My swap consists of a top notch engine from hmotors shipped to my house. Name top brand hasport mounts. Great harnesses from rewyre. Clutch is ebay. Its just as good as I bought it a year ago. Car is very reliable. Some cheap ebay parts yes. I had expensive skunk 2 pro s coilivers and I don't like a stiff ride I had drop zone springs before and liked the ride so I got some again for the crx. Nothing extremely low so went with oem style struts......until I get a beater car or daily where I can really tear into it without downtime. I think shes a keeper so I got plenty of time to do her right

you took my criticism pretty good, most people on here think im too much of a "real parts" fanboy. the way i see it i wouldnt wear some crappy rolex counterfeit, just so i could flaunt what i dont have. same thing goes with honda's some1 out there took their time to develop and engineer quality parts. for some one just to rip them off. anyways glad to hear that you will be putting in some quality time with your REX in the future. stay away from skunk2, they are guilty off counterfeiting.

lol yea also my wife doesn't care for me buying lots of parts. My kids are spoiled and so is my wife she has a 06 escalade with 22's and I have to find ways to keep her away from the coach purse stores haha....

Also I like my cars to ride more like stock so the polished lcas are for looks for me. I had blox and they crapped out. So figure I try these if they don't last long ill be back to oem.

So far I think I'm creeping $4-5 k after I traded for this crx. Not including how I got it with jdm front and it has pretty decent black si interior and decently straight body

if your bushings on your LCA's keep going bad, just go with spherical bearings. they will ride a little ruff, but you will never have to replace them. i have some bad ass ones for sale with sphericals if you want to see what they look like http://www.kcsr.org/showthread.php?t=125843.

these old cars can really be money pits. especially trying to find period correct parts. you should try and find the matching SIR hood. they look bad ass.

Yea the hood hasn't bothered me much till lately. Just so expensive to get a new carbon fiber one. It will take a little time but its on my list so....

I'm the troll?

Nice conversation? Every other post from you involves "real performance parts."

Nobody cares. I'm sure his steering wheel will rattle to pieces because it's not a Personal.

Did you ever lube up your bushing after you installed them. that is the problem with polyurethane you have to contently give it maintenance. buy some energy suspension lubricant, it will be a worth while investment.

You never have to replace spherical bearings huh?

No offense, but have you ever run any non-OEM spherical joints for any length of time?

I assure that when they are not protected from road grime, dust boots plus grease, that they do in fact wear out.
