BB's Lawnside BBQ - KCSR

Um....I'm trying to figure out how I've lived in this area for nearly 20 years and have never been to BB's. GO! Right now, drop everything and GO! The burnt ends were incredible. Easily the best I've ever put in my face. And, trust, I've eaten ALOT of burnt ends. Half of my plate was filled with beautiful, huge chunks of beef. They were tender and juicy, with just the right amount of meat/fat content (I hate those places that serve fatty ends). The smoke flavor (my yardstick for good BBQ) was outrageous. Just fantastic. I'll be going back for sure. If you love burnt ends, you should check 'em out too.

Will be going when I visit KC again. How big is the dining area? I may or may not decided to invited a copious amount of people and turn it into a KCSR shindig.

And if you haven't already, go try Woodyard BBQ. Very good burnt ends as well!

So much good BBQ in KC so little time...

BB's is a fun place. It's not huge but they cram you in and in the summer they have a large deck. Try to go when they have live music in the evenings.

Woodyard BB Ribs are really good too. Its got a nice smoke and very juicy/tender. How good are the ribs at BB's?

Never been to BB's. I'm going to Woodyard when I get off work though to get me some of those burnt ends

My dad took me there not too long ago. Great food, picnic table seating, live music. Not a bad time.

Idk what happened but woodyard was not good at all. The burnt ends were bland and tasteless. Ntm they were chewy. Needless to say I won't be going back. Next.

Got to bump this thread.

We were driving by Woodyard and decided to give it a chance and Tasteless is the key word. The salmon was dry the Brisket tasted like it was cooked in a microwave and the ham had no flavor. We couldn't get any service after they brought the food (I had to walk across a driveway and go inside, then was ignored by everyone there). The sauce was pretty good though.

Basically 37 bucks for 4 sandwiches (on crappy white bread) 3 sides and water. Most of it went into the trash.
