coolest cop in town - KCSR

was pulled over monday. Was riding my bike from my aunts house and wasnt speeding or doing anything stupid.
was pulled over for my tag location. its tucked up in there behind the rear tire.
He said, wow thats a cool bike and I really like what you have done to it.
I told him I just bought it and will re locate the tag soon.
He told me he was a rider and loved the look of the bike.
He then asked for my DL and insurance.
I had neither...
I had temp. insurance at my house right down the street which I told him.(peice of paper that claims you have insurance till you get the real card).
Im signed up for the msf class this and its starts this friday, which i told him and will get my DM then and I have already filled out the forms to get it when the class is completed.
He said since i was being safe and not speeding or doing anything stupid that he would let me go with no tickets or nothing if my record was good. It was. He said that driving a bike with out the M endorcemet is instant court time and said every officer isnt this nice so get it done and happy riding. he let me go with out any tickets. was in the Overland park area. be nice and honest to cops out there. not all are bad, infact most of the ones Ive dealt with are very nice but this was the best example Ive had towards that argument.

Man, cops can be the absolute coolest sometimes.

I agree with you. Most of the time when you are honest to a cop , they will let things slide.
