I think I saw your/this car turn off of 39th onto Southwest Trafficway earlier this week? Sounded nice, got my attention, I turned all the way around from my office to get a look.

. I purchased this car a few years ago as a blown up ITS race car. The rolling chassis was a good base, but it didn't have any engine or transmission. I decided that I didn't have the means or the time to go SCCA racing, so I just set to work building a car that didn't meet any rules guidelines, but would be fun at open road course events. I started off by stripping all the decals and sliding in a replacement M20 motor with the main pieces of a TCD turbo kit. I went through a few different configurations of how to route the intercooler and exhaust and got my first experience welding on this car (3" oval tube was interesting to work with..). I was able to get the exhaust put together, but brought in some back up for the motor mounts and a few other items. I also wired up the car to run on MegaSquirt and with some help from e30tech got the car up and running. It's running off the wastegate spring now ~8psi and is probably making around 200-220whp. It's been a fun toy to play with and I look forward to giving it more attention in the future now that the Corvette is retired from road course duty.
