The 2 rear steel brake lines on my 95 Civic LX are rusted through near the rear fender well where they turn up to go around the tank and I was going to pull them off to have a new pair made. I bought a set of line wrenches and about every 2 hours I've been going out and spraying them with PB Blaster trying to get them to free up at the proportioning valve, but no luck so far. Any other ideas??? Maybe a dab of heat from a torch would work???

I have used a butane lighter at a "torch" to heat up smaller bolts but never brake lines. I assume it would work though. Also tap on the firing lightly after spraying it. Sometimes that works the fluid into the threads and breaks up the corrosion.
Good luck.

Just get good pair of flat jaw vice grips. You will get it loose in the first try.
