Default Everyone wants to Drag Race.......

A night of alleged drinking and horse-and-carriage drag racing ended in the arrests of four Amish youths Sunday after one of their buggies crashed into a police cruiser in upstate New York.
Four people were charged with underage drinking after police responded to complaints about a rowdy party in the town of Sherman, N.Y., about 145 kilometres south of Buffalo.
When officers arrived on the scene, they saw two horse-drawn buggies racing "up and down the street," Chautauqua County Sheriff Joseph Gerace told local media.
As a patrol car drove by, one of the buggies tried to move out of the way, but ended up crashing into the cruiser.

The buggy flipped onto its side and the horse broke free, running off to a nearby barn, according to the police report. One of the people in the carriage suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Police said they found alcohol containers in the buggies.
They arrested Marty Troyer, 20, Marianne Troyer, 18, Leroy Troyer, 20 and Marvin Byler, 19. All four were charged with underage drinking. The legal drinking age in the United States is 21.
Marty Troyer faces additional charges because he was allegedly hosting the party, police said.
Sherman is home to a large Amish community, known for its simple lifestyle and aversion to modern technology, including motorized vehicles.
