Default Fight your city today

Everyone on this forum needs to do the following....
1. Go to a city Council Meeting
2. Speak out about why traffic enforcement is done. Safer roads, safer cars... NOT TO RAISE MONEY. Every one of those people have forgotten that.
3. Demand proof from the Police department that their efforts and ticket writing have changed, for the better, the accidents rates in that city.
4. Fight to have the departments show proof. If they canít demand that they reduce the tickets and start writing warning until they can show any difference in occurrence rates or accidents between citations and warnings. Also demand that fines be lowered until they can prove that higher fines make people less likely to commit traffic infractions.
5. Request that the officer standing in the chamber during the meeting tell you even 10% of the 200 traffic infractions in the STO (standard traffic offense) book by number. They canít. Then ask why the department is allowed to enforce only 5% of the listed infractions 99% of the time.

That is how you win.
