I've been salary for the last 4 years. I had the option to stay salary come Dec 1st, but I have opted to go back to hourly. I've been working 47+ hours a week, missing things at home, to tired on the weekend to do anything. Right now spending time at home with child and wife mean more than anything to me. I'm looking forward to being 40 hours going forward, even though for the time being it puts on hold on any advancement within the company. I'm not really looking to move up right now. Gotta get the wife through her cpa stuff at umkc, and get this kid to school age. At that time I will look to move into another position and probably back to salary. For now, I need a more even work life balance.
